Aguja Poincenot

Part of the Cerro Chaltén/Fitz Roy range, Aguja Poincenot was first climbed in 1962 and is named after the french climber Jacques Poincenot who drowned in the area ten years earlier. The first ascentionists were Don Whillans and Frank Cochrane.
