About me

I am a climber and artist who specializes in creating mountain illustrations. The artistic process involves using traditional pen and paper techniques, followed by digital colouring, with a commitment to faithfully representing more of a feeling of the mountain, than every intricate detail (though I try to add a lot of those as well).

The aspiration is to try capture the essence of gazing up at a colossal rock formation just before the climb, evoking a sense of humility, smallness, and “interconnectedness” with something grand and much, much bigger than oneself.

Recognizing the diversity of mountains around our world, I strive to draw awe-inspiring peaks from many different places. Some notable examples include Chamonix, Patagonia, the Bugaboos, Karakoram, and Greenland.
